The Advanced Print Server IPDS (IAPS) enables any PostScript or PCL5 compatible multi-function printing device to print AFP/IPDS from an IBM host.

Comprehensive driver template collection exist for leading printer manufacturors such as Lexmark, Ricoh, Sharp, Canon and Konica Minolta. Also the IAPS IPDS has been specifically adapted to provide high-speed IPDS printing in conjunction with the Creo Color Servers

IAPS IPDS features 2 different models suited for any printing environment, both workgroup and high volume production printing. Each model is scalable in numbers of IPDS sessions.

The IAPS 200 series services from 1 to 4 printers or Multi-Function Printers simultaneously with a total continuous throughput of up to 85 ppm on monochrome printers and 25 ppm when printing in colour.

The IAPS 300 series services from 1 to 64 printers or Multi-Function Printers simultaneously with a total continuous throughput of up to 200ppm, when printing colour, and up to 500 ppm on monochrome printers.
