The Creo IAPS TNe adds TN5250e capabilities to your LAN network printers, ranging from label printers to digital copiers. No installation is required on the printers, as all configuration is done from a single central point – for up to 64 printers. There is no need to configure printer devices, TCP/IP or queues on the host.
SCS Emulation: The IAPS TNe\SCS emulates SCS Native Mode Printing using the Intermate SCS/DCS protocol conversion engine. This engine is controlled by drivers you can customize – even adapting them to conform to features in other protocol conversions. Each driver configuration is stored in an “IDB file”, editable via your web browser.
Transparency Mode:The IAPS TNe\SCS supports Transparency Mode if you have the Host Print Transform (HPT) feature on the host. The IAPS reports printer errors to the host, preventing loss of print data by providing the same level of status reporting known from legacy Twinax printers. If you only need Transparency Mode, the IAPS TNe\HPT model will meet your needs.
