Upgrades and Maintenance
New versions of WinIPDS
The
download request must be used, just as when requesting a download for the first time.
When you upgrade the G52 firmware, your old settings in the configuration database are preserved. This includes your license key. Any new options are simply added to the database with default values. New options are always mentioned in the release notes.
Users of IPDS Client 2005 may upgrade to WinIPDS simply by installing the newest G52 release.
Expanded functionality / expanding your license
Please contact
sales@intermate.com if you want a replacement key to expand functionality for a given IPDS Print Server version (G52), for example increase the number of IPDS Services and/or add special color support. If you have bought maintenance for your WinIPDS product, you are also entitled to move the WinIPDS software to another PC and we will issue a new key for that PC (see next section)
Maintenance
Product maintenance will cover for a twelve (12) month period any new software releases, upgrades, modifications, that may resolve existing or potential software defects (such as "bug fixes") as determined solely by the manufacturer of the software. The product maintenance may also include limited technical support by telephone or e-mail br />
The maintenance will also cover for a period of 12 months from date of payment, a one time only no charge replacement of the WinIPDS license should a replacement license be required. A request for a replacement license must be accompanied by a written statement that the original license has been and/or will no longer be used.
