Intermate|Forms is an off-the-shelf product that generates PCL electronic forms and barcodes from your existing print data streams without changing your print application.

Many ERP systems such as SAP R/3, JD Edwards, Oracle and Peoplesoft still produces transactional print data that were originally designed for hardcopy carbon copy printers. It is often difficult or costly to re-program the applications to exploit the features of today’s Printers and MFPs, and typically the more advanced features are manufacturer specific and will just tie the output into another fixed layout or print stream. The value of improving the printed output is, however, of vital importance not only to maintain the corporate image, but also to improve the functional value of the printed material. A properly formatted transactional print will minimize confusion and optimize productivity to an extend that is clearly visible on the bottom line.

Intermate|Forms allow you to make fast and effective visual and functional improvements to your printed print data by entering forms definitions through an intuitive Web GUI. Intermate|Forms simply appear to the applications as a genuine network printer. Print jobs are modified on the fly based on the forms definition rules, and the resulting PCL print data is forwarded to any physical network printer of choice.

Intermate|Forms has been developed from numerous requests to provide an electronic PCL forms printing solution that is easy to install and configure, and which only includes the essential electronic forms capabilities. Many feature rich electronic forms software packages exist, but often these packages are found too expensive or too advanced compared to the actual needs. The Barcode feature supports the "JetCaps" method for printing 1D and 2D barcodes on standard PCL printers, and is subsequently compatible with a number of ERP systems such as SAP R/3, JD Edwards etc. which output barcode data in this format.

Intermate|Forms is a small hardware appliance that plugs directly into the network without installing additional software on PCs or servers. It requires no software installed on your servers, and require no changes to the network configuration.
