Quick IPDS integration without hurdles
The Creo IPDS Ultra SDK is a set of code and tools that allow a developer to easily and quickly integrate the Creo IPDS technology into a native hardware or software print platform. No large investments in R&D resources as well as special engineering skill sets are needed. The IPDS Ultra takes into consideration the typical challenges when porting foreign code onto a proprietary platform. The Creo IPDS Ultra SDK is supplemented with a comprehensive suite of pre-sales and post-sales tools, which have proven to further elminate the need for very specialized knowledge and dedicated resources.
The Creo IPDS Ultra SDK accumulates experience collected from hundreds of thousands of installed IPDS solutions through the last 15 years. The IPDS functionality follows the IBM specifications closely, and deviations from the standards experienced on the IBM printers announced over the years are incorporated either as best possible match, or as user configurable choices. The IPDS Ultra SDK supports all IPS InfoPrint families, ranging from Workgroup printers to AFCCU based cut-sheet and continuous forms printers. This not only ensures compatibility for an OEM product with its IPS InfoPrint counterpart, but also ensures compatibility and interoperability across product categories and families.
