IPDS Template Collections for IAPS IPDS & WinIPDS Pro

Terms of use:

Device specific driver templates of this section are provided by Creo on an "as-is" basis with no warranties of any kind and are to be used at your own risk. The driver templates and information derived from them must only be used with Creo products. You may freely load any template into your Creo product, as well as copy, rename and modify it. You may also distribute the template collections or drivers derived from a template partly, or in its entirety.
You are kindly encouraged, but not obligated, to inform Creo about errors, deficiencies or suggestions for improvements of the driver templates. Creo will appreciate receiving new driver templates or modifications from you. Creo reserves the right to use such feedback and contributions to extend the driver template collections and make them publicly available in this section. Creo disclaims any liability for damages arising from making such contributions publicly available including (but not limited to) violation of copyrights or intellectual property.

Handling of templates:

• How to load: Unzip the tpl files from the zip files. The driver templates are loaded from the "Drivers" or "Templates menus in the Web GUI of the product. Please consult the online help of the product for further information. 
• Templates that are exported from the product, can only be imported into a G50/G59 release with the same "Template Version" (see the header of the release note for the template version).
• The Template Version of the installed G50/G59 release is shown on the overall status page in the product Web GUI (only shown on G50-40-100 and G59-10-004 and later releases)
• Note that different G50/G59 releases can have the same Template Version. The Template Version only changes when the configuration data base model of the product changes. New G50/G59 releases may include fixes and new features that does not affect the data base model. 
• If you need to import older templates, you must downgrade the installed G50/G59 release to match that of the templates to import. Once imported you can upgrade the G50/G59 release again, and the templates will automatically be converted to the Template Version of the installed G50/G59 firmware. Subsequent export of the templates will enable the templates to be imported in another IAPS or WinIPDS Pro with this Template Version.
• Versioning: "Template database level vXXX - Printerbrand_YYY" (XXX denotes the database level, which the G50/G59 should have in order to allow import of this template collection. YYY denotes the version of the driver template contents.)
