Upgrading from WinIPDS (G52)
You can not upgrade the WinIPDS (G52) with the WinIPDS Pro/Lite (G59) software. An already installed WinIPDS will not be affected by an installation of WinIPDS Pro/Lite on the same machine. The two products can run simultaneously.
A license key for WinIPDS can be installed into WinIPDS Lite and activate the same feature set. If you are using WinIPDS it is recommended to consider switching over to WinIPDS Lite as WinIPDS is discontinued and all future enhancements and bug fixes will be released for WinIPDS Lite only.
New versions of WinIPDS Pro/Lite (G59)

When you upgrade the G59 firmware, your old settings in the configuration database are preserved. This includes your license key. Any new options are simply added to the database with default values. New options are always mentioned in the release notes.
Expanded functionality / expanding your license
Please contact ipds_sales@creoservers.com if you want a replacement key to expand functionality for your installation, for example increase the number of IPDS Services and/or add special color support.Maintenance
Product maintenance will cover for a twelve (12) month period any new software releases, upgrades, modifications, that may resolve existing or potential software defects (such as "bug fixes") as determined solely by the manufacturer of the software. The product maintenance also include technical support by telephone or e-mail depending on the Support level purchased with the product.In case you product license key has been locked to the PCs MAC address, the maintenance will also cover for a period of 12 months from date of payment, a one time only no charge replacement of the WinIPDS Lite license should a replacement license be required. A request for a replacement license must be accompanied by a written statement that the original license has been and/or will no longer be used.
