IPDS Print server using standard MS Windows Drivers

The Creo WinIPDS is a cost-effective, software-only AFP/IPDS LAN Print Server, which can be installed in a matter of minutes on a Microsoft Windows PC, where it runs as a Windows Service.

The server is able to convert Intelligent Printer Data Stream (IPDS) into a format supported by any type of Windows print driver. Like hardware solutions such as embedded cards and conversion boxes, this product leverages your investment in IBM’s AFP/IPDS application technology by offering a much wider range of printing choices This Windows-based software solution exploits native print drivers, which simplifies printer configuration and in many cases expands the choice of printers even further.

WinIPDS is based on teh powerfull IPDS Ultra kernel, which has one of the world's largest and most sophisticated IPDS install bases.
