About Intermate|Forms

Intermate|Forms is an application for printing forms and barcodes on 
PCL5 printers. Intermate|Forms attaches directly to the LAN and it is 
possible to define up to 254 services, depending on your license.

Fixes:

New features:

- Barcode printing functionality ported from the Intermate|Barcoder,
  which subsequently has been discontinued.

System Requirements:
-----------------------------

- Each destination printer must be IP-connected to an Ethernet LAN.

- Each destination printer should support SNMP; otherwise reporting
  will be severely limited.

- Each destination printer must be able to recognize PCL5 commands.

- Access to the Intermate|Forms Web GUI requires a browser. Java Script
  must be enabled and the browser must be able to handle frame sets.

Known limitations:

- Max size per overlay is 3MB

  Upgrade instructions:
-----------------------------
NOTE: Due to major modifications it is not possible to perform and 
  "update" from versions before february 2008 (G58-10xx-xx).
  You can however perform an "Upgrade", which will result in your
  user configuration to be lost. Before ugprading make notes of your
  Configuration, so you can manually re-enter them.
  
- login to the web GUI of the product with the designer account (default
  password: designer). 
- Make sure there are no active jobs by checking the "Overall status". 
  It is recommended to enter the "Inport Ports" menu and disable any 
  active ports.
- Enter the menu item "Load Firmware or License", and click "Load" to 
  locate the "..setup" file.
  NOTE: that this file will reset the product to its factory defaults
  and subsequently erase all configuration settings, including
  network settings which will default to DHCP.
- After a firmware upgrade you should reboot the product.
